Steel & Roofing Systems are looking to add to our team. We’re looking for an experienced quantity surveyor.

Responsibilities:

• Estimating of structural steel and cladding tenders
• Preparing BOQ’s and submission of tender quotes
• The management of structural steelwork/cladding package from tender stage to completion
• Liaising with steel detailers/project managers on monthly claims
• Monitoring site costs and variations and submission to client for approval
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts for submission to clients
• Liaising with clients, design teams and public bodies

Requirements:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying
• Member of the RICS
• A minimum of 6 years relevant experience within the construction industry
• Confident in dealing with external stakeholders.
• Good communication and negotiating skills
• Experienced in the management of projects, ensuring their adherence to cost
• Computer literate in relevant tools, including MS Office
• Previous steelwork project experience is required and any cladding experience would be beneficial
