SRS are fabricating and erecting 700 tonnes of steelwork, and installing 9000m2 of roof and wall cladding for a new pharmaceutical plant in Kilorglan, Co. Kerry.
The structure is comprised of a large production and storage area which is formed using a series of 24m trusses and a single central line of columns. The office space is composite construction with a 175mm deep comflor 60 deck and slab. The areas are separated by a single 38m super truss which is to be site fabricated without any splices. All of the 24m trusses have been fabricated and primed and are ready for erection.
The cladding system being used for the project consists of Kingspan Optimo longspan panels and Kingspan Karrier and Alucobond rainscreen cladding.
