Steel & Roofing Systems are looking to add to our team. We’re looking for an experienced contracts manager who will be responsible for the delivery of a number of projects of varying values.

Responsibilities:

• The management of structural steelwork package from tender stage to completion
• Liaising with steel detailers on shop drawing submissions and approval
• Liaising with workshop manager on fabrication times and site dates
• Monitoring site costs and variations for submission to commercial
• The preparation and implementation of programmes
• Coordination of simultaneous live projects
• Liaising with clients, design teams and public bodies
• Ensuring that the highest levels of H&S, Quality and Environmental standards are met

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years relevant project management/structural engineering experience
• Held a similar Contracts Manager or Project Manger role
• Structural engineering background would be beneficial
• Confident in dealing with external stakeholders
• Experienced in the management of project delivery, ensuring their adherence to cost, quality and programme
• Computer literate in relevant tools, including MS Office, project programming and analysis tools
• Previous steelwork project experience is required and any cladding experience would be beneficial
